Events & Activities - the Benefits of Membership
When you join amité, you will receive your Welcome Pack, which includes the amité Programme, you will also be able to view the Programme in the members' area as well as book events. This is packed full of varied events with four or five to choose from every week to suit all budgets. The venues are located throughout the Exeter, South Hams and Plymouth areas. Many of these are within the A38 corridor, making them easily accessible. We don't publish our Programme on the web site as, naturally, it is exclusive to members.
A WARM WELCOME. Every amité event has a host, who will be there to welcome you. A photograph of each Host appears in the programme, making them easy to recognise when you are attending events. You will never have to walk into anywhere not knowing who you're looking for.

Party Nights
These are fantastic occasions, bringing the largest number of single people together in Devon to socialise in a fabulous party atmosphere. amité has exclusive use of the Lavender House Country Hotel, near Ashburton, - perfectly located in a stunning setting with delicious food and excellent service. It is no wonder that Party Nights and Balls have been voted amité's no. 1 favourite event.
Dining Out
amité members enjoy dining out. From traditional to á la carte, Cantonese to Indian, it's an excellent way to spend an evening enjoying great company, superb food and the odd glass or two!

Fun Activity Days
These are a fun way to spend a weekend, whether you like to be energetic or relaxed. They naturally vary with the seasons. Coming up is cycling, golf, canoeing and invigorating walks to country strolls with picnics or pub lunches. amité car Treasure Hunts, are always enormous fun, there is never a dull moment when you join amité!
Short Breaks
Short breaks have included Edinburgh, Prague, Dublin, Paris, Barcelona and the U.K. Now that Exeter airport has expanded its destinations it makes popping over to somewhere like Paris for a long weekend, so easy!
Regular Events
Every month there are regular events such as ten-pin bowling, quiz nights, informal meals, skittles, Pub lunches, picnics and beach BBQ’s in the summer and lots, lots more.
